These are museum quality works of art, using the clay and firing methods from Centuries ago.

Traditional Native clay; bison dung fuel for firing in the traditional Potawatami method taught to her by her grandmother.   Bison dung, she has told me, burns very hot but without spark or ash as other fuels may produce.  The fire burns the patterns into the clay ... in it's own spirit.

I first met Pahponee at one of the National Bison Association conferences in Denver ... probably 2015 or 2016.  She is an absolute delight.  Gracious, concerned and driven to maintain culture and traditions of her ancestors.  It's been a few years since I have seen her, but just one look at her picture and I'm right back in the warmth of her spirit.

All of these pieces are either 2016 or 2017.  The value of her work since has risen way beyond these prices

From Bronze Smith Gallery:  "Pahponee is a self taught Artist who has been working in multiple mediums since 1982.

Her name is given to her through Native American Tradition from the Elders of her Kickapoo Tribe.

Pahponee is an ancient name from the Algonquin language of the Northeastern Great Lakes and translates into Snow Woman.

Pahponee creates vessels in Clay, then selects specific designs which she feels will best translate the spirit of her work, to be molded and produced into Limited Edition Bronze."

Her inspiration comes from the natural world and from the history and life ways of her tribe.

BONUS IF YOU ACT QUICKLY:  I have the pictures shown of Pahponee firing pots over the bison dung fire, which she gave me in Denver.  You want one with your pot?  Let me know ... while they are still here.
