This pendant - Hand Cut with a jewelry saw -, started as a 1945 U.S. Silver Eagle/Walking Liberty Half Dollar. It is spectacular.

Lady Liberty holds branches of laurel, walking into the sunrise of a new day. The Stars & Stripes fly behind. Coin is 30.6 mm and made of silver. 

The chances of you seeing another one on another person  .... it just won't happen; these are all one of a kind and well worth the investment! 

Originally, all I wanted from this artist was his cut coin buffalo/Indian Head nickel earrings and pendants (which we have and beautifully done.  They have been great sellers).  But the more I saw of his work, just like this coin, I knew these were the kind of American Artist pieces that would be a special addition to our website.

  Look at the intricacy of his work.  He is a perfectionist literally like no other.  These are even so much better in your hand.  It is hard to believe someone can do this kind of detailed work, but Jarrett does!

I love using circulated currency as an artistic medium. Each coin has its own story to tell. As I am working, I wonder-- where has this coin traveled? What was traded for it? How many lives has it connected before finding its way to my workbench to be transformed into a unique piece of jewelry? Coin currency has been an integral part of society for thousands of years. There is a strong connection to history and a sense of nostalgia associated with coins. Using them to make jewelry allows me to craft unique, high quality works from a necessary, pre-existing material.
