"Fairy Tales" by Sharon Markwardt; large piece - 24" x 48"

 "This longhorn steer was a neighbor I could see from my studio (In Burleson, Texas ... only about 9 miles from my old place there - cm) , and he has long been a favorite subject.  He'd trade a scratch behind his horns for posing in a photo session.  I took a lot of license with the patterns in his hair in order to tell some tales of Texas.  See what you find!"

The last GREAT WORK I will have from Sharon.  The shadows she paints on; look at how "actual" they look.  The detail (nose whiskers are just one example).  She has always been, and continues to be, a tremendous talent with "critters".  So glad we got to know her and were able to both show and sell some of her outstanding pieces.

Original sold for about $6500.  Today it would be worth 3 times that easily.  And that was back probably 2005.  

#4 of 150.  That only means that she had the right to print up to 150 pieces.  I doubt seriously that there were more than 10 ... and actually, this may well have been the last one she did!  

Shipping:  You can come grab it here in Goodnight.  Or, I will deliver this within 500 miles of Goodnight at no cost.  Or, I will meet you within the same distance and hand it off.   I can bring it to the 2026 Winter Conference in Denver and you take it from there.  Lastly, I will take it to Fed Ex or UPS shop for you to deal with them on packing, shipping and insurance.
