Buffalo Horn toggle buttons

These are water buffalo horn.  It is very similar to bison horn .... but readily available overseas where these are made.  They really are special and we used them on several very high end shawls and ponchos.  They are a beautiful shiny black underside and polished part with a brown/grey rough out.  The texture is the natural outer surface of the water buffalo horn, as is the brown coloration.   Never ever had any problems with these.  Excellent product and this shape worked super with both sewn button holes and with loop closures.

These we did get from Benno's (see the package) .... and while they don't seem to have this identical button, they do have several similar; same material for sure.  Just different shapes.  They now get $5.27 each.  I'm putting these up at $3 (in sets of 12 buttons)
