Today: September 15, I finally got the last few loads out of the old place. Officially, the old store is more gone than todays bison. And I have a grand new plan. Bob and I are creating a "List"; we will add to it every day and deduct things on the list that have "gone away". It is intended to be all the remaining crazy sale items ... but we will add things as we dig them out from the move. I Expect that the "List" will be an ongoing project well towards the end of this year ... I have that much "stuff" to get gone. The list is being called "Out with the Old" You have to request the list; we won't bother the rest of you who don't care about the wild price reductions on things like bison leather vests, low inventory gloves, jewelry, special knives, art prints, books and so much more. I will have a separate email address up here very shortly. You email and ask for "The Out with the Old list". You can ask for it just once; or weekly or monthly (not doing daily just yet). See something on the "list" you want, write me at my regular email (not the new special list request email, please). We will work out the details. The New Goodnight "Distribution Center" is receiving visitors already. If you want to come by, call me -817-992-8220 as far in advance as you can! The freezers are well stocked with bison steaks, bison brats and hot dogs, some burgers still left, some of our "buffalo cocaine" .... well, that's what a bunch of the bison jerky "addicts" call Gehl's Kippered Bison jerky. Still a little bison corned brisket, as well. Isaac promises the "new" website look is really close to done! STAY TUNED!
The New Goodnight "Distribution Center" is open. If you want to come by, call me -817-992-8220 a far in advance as you can! STAY TUNED!

We are proud to offer Boston Leather bison leather men's belts.   They have been crafting leather into belts, suspenders and leather accessories for fire, police and postal workers since 1938.   Their "1801" line - was created as off-duty belts ... and American bison is their choice of leather.  The saddle stitched 1.5" style is available in Black, Dark Pecan (a deep rich brown) or Tucson (a bit lighter - kind of saddle color).   Black has antique silver color buckle; browns have antique brass color buckle.

Made in the USA.
Boston Leather started out making leather novelties and transitioning into making the old school heavy leather bags for the US Post Office.  Now, they concentrate on high tech products for police, fire, military and still for the post office.  And go figure, Boston Leather is in Chicago!  (actually, in Western Illinois, but they started out in Chicago .... near the stockyards and processing plants where hides were readily available for tanning into leather.)

From their website:  "

And our commitment to crafting products with pride in the USA remains strong today.

Leather remains the material of choice for most of what we manufacture. When worn or carried, leather becomes a part of you. It’s comfortable, long-lasting, incredibly strong and always sharp-looking."

Excellent, Functional, Bison, American Made ..... All good or better!

Mighty fine belt.

Love my new belt. I can now use my custom made buckles. The leather is very durable. Actually, I could use the same style belt a little wider than 1 1/2 inch.

A Gem on the Prairie

Traveling east across Texas with our travel trailer we saw a billboard for Herd Wear but by the time we spotted the store we'd passed the turn off. On our way back home a few days later we paid closer attention and stopped in to look around. Plenty of room there to maneuver our trailer. Enjoyed the many steel bison sculptures in the yard and spent an hour browsing in the store. Bought a fabulous bison hat and leather belt which will remind me of our trip through Texas when I wear them. Great stop!

Great belt

Love my new belt. It was made even better by Cecil’s help with adding a few extra belt holes. I always love stopping in to see what they’ve added to their shielded.
Merry Christmas Cecil, to you and everyone there at the store.
