Just got this one in the door.  The Winchester Model 67 with chrome trigger and cocking knob.

From the auction house:  S#: NSN | Mfg. Pre-68 | 27" Barrel |||| CONDITION: Good. Retaining 30% Original Blued Finish, with signs of Darkened Blueing, and finish loss. Wood is nice and solid with some handling marks. Mechanically Functions. Bore is Excellent

Actually, this one appears to be pre WWII.  The chrome trigger and chrome cocking knob "disappeared" after the war.  So , even without a serial number, this is most likely an 80 year old .22 with a great barrel, rifling, wood .... and with just a bit of cleaning ought to be just as great for another 80 years.

The Model 67 was built from 1934-1963.  Bolt Action with pull back cocking mechanism.  Also has a Springfield type safety.   One of the best beginners/youth training rifle ever made.  Accurate, safe, dependable.

Many of these have already been handed down for generations .... and probably will be for generations to come.  Start your own family Winchester tradition!

27" barrel shoots 22 short, 22 long and or 22 long rile.  U-notch rear sight, beaded-post front sight (early) or Buckhorn rear sight, post front sight (standard), aperture rear sight, hooded post front sight (1943–onwards, optional), shotgun-style bead front sight (1940–onwards, miniature target bore)

This will ship in a silicon sock and rifle case.

Here is a great You Tube discussion:
