At one time I got into finding older bison leather cases.  Usually, they were in pretty sad shape, as the tannage of the leather "back then" was not always done with chemicals (or tanning solutions) that really preserved the hides.

However, there is a certain aesthetic sense to how these were developed.   Anyway, 3 pieces of that group are still here.  They are 1.  the doctors bag;   2; the small valise   3; larger suitcase.

These are all priced at substantially less than I paid for them over the past 20 or so years

The doctors bag most likely is actual bison leather .... but it is pretty deteriorated.  The leather is brittle, but as you can see from the pictures,. it is still intact.  Not really functional but surely decorative.   It is most likely early 1900's.... could even be a bit older.

The small valise is in good or better condition.  The leather is dry but still carries a luster indicative of having "life" left.  It could be used, but again, it is better as decoration.  It has a bid of a musty odor which i have not sprayed with anything that probably would remove the smell.   I'm guessing this one from the teens or 20's based on style and exterior leather.  The leather has a very pleasing deep grain pressed into it ... but I don't think it to be bison leather.  Doubt there was any available bison by the time it was made ... but again. that's just an opinion

The larger suitcase is in darn good condition.  I think by the style it is the newest, probably from the 30's or 40's. Again. a beautiful pressed grain to look like bison ... and if I remember it actually says bison or buffalo inside .... but I'd bet against that.

Use your imagination and let's get these on the way.

Flat rate shipping these will be $25 so that they will all be less than $100 total (or close with sales tax if in Texas)
