Rhodochrosite is a manganese carbonate mineral with chemical composition MnCo3. In its pure form (rare), it is typically a rose-red cooler, but it can also be shades of pink to pale brown. Colorado officially named rhodochrosite as it's State mineral in 2002.
These are a dusty rose/white/hint of brown in 3 and 5. Lightly muted coloration, but certainly a color combo that works well with a whole lot of looks.
We were fortunate enough to grab this little collection of Native made pendants in a nice trade. The findings are .925 sterling silver. The stones are very nicely finished. Not real flashy, but super pieces to add to any ladies collection. Something a bit out of the ordinary; eye-catching and just a bit ahead of the crowd. Quality stones and quality settings.
