Jack Sorenson Original "Sad Monkey Point"

Sold out
$3,600.00

One of Jack's favorite places in the Palo Duro Canyon... but not one he frequently paints.  His dad's "tourist attraction", on which Jack worked in his youth, was named after this landmark .. it was called "The Sad Monkey Railroad".

As Jack writes on the painting tag. "This point in the Palo Duro Canyon has probably had many many bison wander beneath it over the years".  Jack is day dreaming and painting at the same time.  This work is the wonderful result.  12” x 16” image (and the only vertical painting in this group); framed it is 17.5" x 21.5".
