Prehistoric woolly mammoth ivory Tiny Dew Drop earrings are accented with black Swarovski crystals and set with rhodium plated sterling silver French hooks.
Mammoth ivory is found in the cold northern region of Alaska, Canada, Russia, and Siberia, and may range in age from 10,000 to 200,000 years. Colors vary in neutral shades of creams or tans. All of the one's we are are in the darker range. If you want a more "creamy" colored air do let me know and I will see what Cortney has available. The color depends on the mineral content of water or sediment that the mammoth tusk was in for all those years while it fossilized. These are truly delicately beautiful.
