Sharon Markwardt's colorful giclee prints.  "The Color of the West" ... as she calls the,.  All are edge wrapped giclee prints.  

Sharon is a remarkable artist, whose talent has been recognized so much more over the past couple years that prices on originals have gone bonkers!  She is from Burleson, Texas (which is were I had the original ranch raising bison, and Santa Fe, NM. 

"Thunder" was our herd bull ... Tankashela.. or Grandfather in Lakota.  The likeness is uncanny, but that is Sharon's talent at work.  The paintings and the actual animal ... she does all of her pieces from actual "critters" ... are so identifiable.
