The finest bison leather vests (both this Old Grizzly and the Cinnamon Bubble) I have ever seen ... in over 30 years of working with bison leather - bar none!
This leather has been tanned and thinned to perfection .... so light, yet so beautifully unique. The workmanship on the vest itself - the lining, the stitching, the trims - are just exceptional
Right and Left conceal carry pockets inside the front; wallet or cell phone pocket on the inside and functional pockets on the outside.
From our good friend Stanley Glascock - Loma Vista of Texas. Took him almost 2 years to get these into production ... and are we glad he did.
5 button front with very nice faux buffalo nickel buttons.

Starting with the buying experience, the customer service extended to help come to the correct size was outstanding. Plus, the quality of the bison vest was better than expected and I had high hopes to begin with, which were exceeded!

I have purchased three of these vest. The quality of the bison is simply the best. Like any article of clothing the fit is some what variable and you should try it on.
Doc: Thanks, as always. My guess is you were trying to give this a #1 rating ... top marks, and didn't mean to just give it one star. I know you love and appreciate the workmanship ... and I agree; these are just fantastic uses of bison leather.

you ever have vests made from bison hair?

Dan: When you say bison "hair", that brings up two distinct and different kinds of vests. We actually have both. One is the hair on hide vests ... both shaggy (uncut) or sheared bison, which I do believe we are the only ones to have that available. If you put in "vests" in the search bar it will bring up not only some of the vests, but also one of the sheared bison sides from which we have the vests (and coats etc) made. Most of these are made to order ... to your measurements and specs ... and run from about $550 to about $1500.
The other kind is made from a very unique and dense woven fabric made from bison down - the winter undercoat. Take a look at a couple of the links below and see if that is what you are thinking about those.
