As you can see from the date (2016), this beautiful native style knife has been around a while. I have no history on the maker, other than his name on the back. And I am not sure exactly what the blade is. Could be chert but I just cannot find good pictures to be sure, sorry.
This is a well balanced, well made stone knife. The display really sets it off and is an artwork itself. Trade beads look 'newish", but not for sure. Blade and handle are a total of 8" long (excluding the tassel and beads).
This is a beautifully finished display piece; not too large but certainly showy.
