I sure do appreciate all of you who have "jumped" on to the "Wholesale Lots". It is giving me room in the Distribution Center for the NEW PRODUCTS that are arriving ... finally. Anza Knives, Silver Pearl Ranch Jewelry, Damascus Steel Knives and a few swords, books from the BOOK HOARD as well as some great new titles, as well. Keep Checking and as always, my best wishes. Oh; hit 35 degrees this morning - October 17th. Finally a break from the heat ... but right down to freezing.
This 2 Volume set is an early works in Cassell's History of War. It details the Franco-Prussian war of 1870 and 1971. Each of the two books has a different map that is attached and folds out.
The books are quite musty, although the boards are attached, though one is coming loose, the pages well intact and not horribly brittle. The book is fair to good; it is readable ... with over 550 pages per volume.
Each has a huge number of plates, all of which are detailed and fascinating.
