These oversize mittens keep my hands very warm when the temperature drops to -10 degrees F or lower. I wear a thin wool glove inside the knitted bison mitten with the bison (thinsulate insulated) over mitt atop. My hands stay very warm in the extreme cold weather.
Almost impossible to find mittens large enough to wear over a pair of heated gloves. These fit the bill perfectly!

This is my second pair. The first kept me completely cold this winter on an open tractor plowing my driveway for 3-4 hours at a stretch. My hands never were cold and were constantly dry. I do put a wool glove layer inside on the bitter cold days ( just wool)...even with the thinsulate. I probably don't even need the extra layer. Love these rugged and well made mittens.

You will not be disappointed with these mittens! They are the warmest mittens I have ever had the pleasure to own! The bison leather is very soft, but hard wearing; no break-in time.

Is there a size guide available for mittens and gloves?
Carley. There are glove sizing charts on the Midwest Gloves and the Bear Knuckles products. Our Herd Wear gloves usually run just a size smaller ... so those you need to order one size larger. Also depends on how tight or loose you prefer your gloves ... everyone seems to have their own preference.. If we guess and guess wrong (after all the only real way is to put them on your hands), we can exchange or refund as you prefer. Very seldom do we need to do this following the sizing above ...but we always will if you ask.
