Today: September 15, I finally got the last few loads out of the old place. Officially, the old store is more gone than todays bison. And I have a grand new plan. Bob and I are creating a "List"; we will add to it every day and deduct things on the list that have "gone away". It is intended to be all the remaining crazy sale items ... but we will add things as we dig them out from the move. I Expect that the "List" will be an ongoing project well towards the end of this year ... I have that much "stuff" to get gone. The list is being called "Out with the Old" You have to request the list; we won't bother the rest of you who don't care about the wild price reductions on things like bison leather vests, low inventory gloves, jewelry, special knives, art prints, books and so much more. I will have a separate email address up here very shortly. You email and ask for "The Out with the Old list". You can ask for it just once; or weekly or monthly (not doing daily just yet). See something on the "list" you want, write me at my regular email (not the new special list request email, please). We will work out the details. The New Goodnight "Distribution Center" is receiving visitors already. If you want to come by, call me -817-992-8220 as far in advance as you can! The freezers are well stocked with bison steaks, bison brats and hot dogs, some burgers still left, some of our "buffalo cocaine" .... well, that's what a bunch of the bison jerky "addicts" call Gehl's Kippered Bison jerky. Still a little bison corned brisket, as well. Isaac promises the "new" website look is really close to done! STAY TUNED!
The New Goodnight "Distribution Center" is open. If you want to come by, call me -817-992-8220 a far in advance as you can! STAY TUNED!

They are here - the new exciting Redfield III bison leather roper boot.

This boot was built of deeply pebbled American tanned bison leather by Thomas Bates Company ... especially for us here at Herd Wear.   Done in Walnut-color.

These are fairly light weight, leather lined with the same great thermolite sole as the original Redfield.  The Redfield III - this new version - is a little taller (12") than the first Redfield which topped out at 11".   (For those who don't know, the second version turned out just too narrow and too tall for "ordinary" folk.  Phelps took them all back and we did this newest "re-design".   These work for dress, casual, working bison and everything you do, this will quickly become your "go to" footwear.   Medium - D width.

We were suppose to have men's 7, 7.4 and 14 ... but those sizes have been cancelled by the factory ... without warning.  So sorry; we were excited to have that broad a size range.  Have not given up ... but as of 10/5/23 ... no can do.

Full disclosure:   These are made of American tanned bison that is constructed in Honduras.   We do wish we could do it all here ... but we are very proud of getting this boot (and the Logan bison leather chukka boot) into production in 2021!
Fuller disclosure:  The 4 reviews on these are actuall for the original "Redfield".   Once these get out into the field  I am comfortable that these will be 5 star as well; it is actually a better boot.

Best boots out there

I love these boots so much, I was looking to buy a second pair, until Cecil talked me out of it! 'These are lifetime boots" said he, and with that let someone else have a lifetime with them. Easy to break in, ridiculously comfortable, and not being much of a boot person, that's a high bar for me. I did drop the bison felt pads into them to tighten it up a little and well, I love the bison felt pads, putting them in all my boots.

We just had our first serious rains and they functioned as true Wellingtons. Shed water like a duck (I did oil them up a bunch).

Tellin' ya, get these boots.

WoW! What a boot!

I was searching for a western boot that was also comfortable and stylish enough to wear out to an event or whatever so I was almost about to buy a work boot made by Timberland or Ariat when I came across these. Exactly what I was searching for, a comfortable western style boot and to top it off it’s Bison Leather. Already wore them today and the size is true because the leather needs some use to soften and mold. Gonna put some dr. Scholl’s cushions in these and they’ll be perfect. Great boot!

Jay: Thank you for taking time to tell the whole story. Let me know if there are any questions as you work on getting the boot broken in a bit. Thanks again and stay well.

Christmas gift

Boots were gifted to teenage grandson, who works at our bison farm. He wears a size 13 and they fit perfectly. After trying them on early Christmas morning he continued to wear the rest of the day noting how comfortable they were.
The craftsmanship of the boots is excellent.
Please consider including with the boots the best way to maintain the leather. One of the first questions he and his mom asked and I could only say I would check with Herd Wear.
Thank you for offering this wonderful boot!

Love these verrrry comfortable boots so much I bought two pairs. Most comfortable boots I've ever worn and the bison leather is the frosting on the cake.
