Two bison deliveries in one day

Two bison deliveries in one day

Two bison deliveries yesterday.  One expected - our first flight to Amarillo of bison meat from Black Kettle Buffalo Ranch - Dick Gehring, in Kansas.  Excellent.  One 50# 1/8 bison - 25# of steaks and roasts and 25# of luscious ground bison burger.  All our other SWA Cargo flights also got to their destinations in great shape. the same day it was shipped!  First class bison meat at a great price ... and air delivered to any of the Southwest Airlines air cargo terminals.

Dick will have another 1 and 3/4 bison processed and ready to fly within two weeks.  After that, it will be December  before he can get any more processing done.

The second "delivery" was from our lead bison cow (simply referred to as "old cow") - a spanking and frisky bull bison calf.  Thought she was bred, but after she didn't calve in March or April we just put that behind us .... little did we suspect this late!

I'll get the videos up here (as soon as my Shopify guru lets me know how!   Baby and Mama are doing just fine, thank you.
