Colt "FRONTIER SIX SHOOTER" - 45 cal early (possibly first) double action Colt revolver

1898 - Colt 45 cal. NVS;

Original Colt hard rubber grips with Mustang.  

Colt S. P. T. Mfg. Co. on top of barrel

"FRONTIER SIX SHOOTER" on barrel

some pitting on exterior of frame, hammer and barrel.  Purchased from high end collector about 10 years ago.  FFL transfer required.

Gun is tight and most likely serviceable.  I have not fired it; strongly suggest good gunsmith inspection if you plan (not so wisely) to fire it.
