Thank all who "voted" in the little email survey we just completed; The overwhelming choice ... both by those who bid and those who did not was MORE AUCTIONS. I'll get them going. Bison vests and coats first; Jewelry next. (and I've got some pieces that have never been on the website, too).
More "New Auctions", "New Stuff" and "Sale" being added as quickly as I can. Keep checking!! Thanks.

British "Tower" rifled musket

Beautiful "1862 Tower" Armory Enfield musket.  Crown emblem on lock plate.

English Oak stock - one piece and single band.  Band is marked M 47 A, may well be a replacement. Stock is remarkable for it's age.  It does have two faint circles on the right side and one on the left and a small pin hole in the center of each.

Hammer locks tightly on both clickbacks, and fires close to perfectly with the trigger.  Trigger pull is remarkably light for this type of gun.

Someone (before me) foolishly did some polishing on the barrel so it still shows some patina and rust .. but has some ":shiny" to it; wish it had not.

Brass trigger guard and brass butt plate (also somewhat polished).

Most of these "1862" muskets are full forearm and three band, but I do not believe this is modified.  Ramrod "hole" directly under the band looks like it was intended to be there from the beginning. No ramrod with this piece.

Single blade front sight apprears original.

Many of these guns saw Civil War service (on either side), but no good provanance on this one.  Just a beautiful and well preserved piece of firearms history.

No FFL required

Gun 13
