European parlor rifles, also known as "zimmerschutzen" in German, were primarily used for recreational indoor shooting and target practice, often within homes or bars. They were popular in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, particularly in Germanic countries, as a way to entertain guests, have family fun, and improve shooting skills.
The rifle is in fine overall condition, retaining approx. 90%-95% thinning blue refinish with scattered scratches, scuffs, and light surface rust
