Early December 29 I will be headed to Nebraska and Southwest Hide. I've got our "next years" bison robes to get off to the Moyle Tannery. In the meantime, there will be a "special" on the remaining few bison robes we still have here ... and by "special" I do mean a heck of a sale!!! Just a few left and they are ...every one ... the finest available anywhere. Watch the next newsletter and don't hesitate or it will be too late. (or if you email me right now ...Cecil@HerdWear.net you will get at the front of the line). More soon ... and lots more.

Lot Number: 65

S#: 3408 | Mfg. circa 1885 (London, UK) | 29-5/8" Laminated Barrels | 12 GA. | 14.25" LOP | Country of origin: England | Wedge keeper forearm with engraved metal pull; Metal backlock butt plate with heel; side lever; oval inlay; Leave hammers at half cock |||| CONDITION: Good. Bare metal finish with patina. Clear markings. Nice engravings. A few darkened dinged spots throughout. Wood stock is excellent and solid with fine, sharp checkering. Forend is the same way with a nice metal inlay. Seems to mechanically function at both half and full cock. Left firing pin goes forward too far, needs some spring tension work. Sometimes issue with closing it due to extractor. Slight bit of play in the lockup. Bores show expected pitting. See photos for more. See photos for more representative description.
