Thank all who "voted" in the little email survey we just completed; The overwhelming choice ... both by those who bid and those who did not was MORE AUCTIONS. I'll get them going. Bison vests and coats first; Jewelry next. (and I've got some pieces that have never been on the website, too).
More "New Auctions", "New Stuff" and "Sale" being added as quickly as I can. Keep checking!! Thanks.

Tough gloves

Ordered these from Cecil at Herdwear to replace some worn out Elk insulated gloves for the winter. These are tough gloves! Tougher, I think, than the elk gloves I have bought before!

Gloves -- a little tight and stiff on hands

Gloves looked great, but I wanted ones that are easier for my old fingers to make a fist. I sent them back.

Yet to present my gift.

I am yet to present my gift of the gloves. I tried them on myself, hoping to tell if they are the correct size. My husband's birthday is not until late November, but I waited last year and they were all sold out. They appear to be great gloves. Only disappointment was there are no leather pads to make for easier driving.

Tough and warm

The thin gloves I already had weren't enough for Colorado winters. My bison lined gloves have been strong enough and warm enough for everything I've wanted, and now flexible than I expected. Highly recommend.

Soft, warm and tough

I only have one issue (possibly two) with these gloves. They are very pliable, warm and tough and fit great. But the finish one the index finger is horrible. Which brings me to the second gripe. I do not believe that these gloves are made in the USA as some of the other models are. If you can live with the ugly finish, specially if using for work only, these are good.

Rowland: Hi and thanks for the review. I can assure you (as Walt Buyce has also done in his email to you) that all of his products are produced in a very small and very efficient cut-and-sew shop in Gloversville, NY ... of bison leather locally tanned.

As Walt explained, bison hides are subject to blemishes and cuts - naturally occuring both in the pasture and when the aminals are brought in for processing ... which is where the hides for the leather come in.

In this day of worker shortages and supply issues, we are still very pleased that Walt and his folks continue to turn out very nice bison leather gloves, vests, dusters, wallets and more ... of American Tanned bison leather ... in the good ole' US of A.

Don't hesitate to send the gloves back to Walt, as he suggested ... or back to me ... and we'll get you a pair you can be 5 star proud of.

Thanks again:

Cecil
