Golden Hills Bison - Original Watercolor
l. The third piece from my personal Art Collection:
This is an original Watercolor by an artist who's name I cannot make out ... unfortunately.
The bison itself is a bit crude ... almost like an ink stamp in this otherwise beautifully colorful piece.
What attracted me to this work was just the simplicity. The vastness of the prairie, probably golden in Autumn browning (although there is also the thought that it might just be sand hills) and one lone critter. As big as a bison may be, this one is dwarfed by it's environment.
And the colors; rich and deep for a watercolor. The frame itself was more that I am asking for the whole ... and it is a great framing job; this by the shop I used before I moved to Goodnight (Dixie's Frame Shop in Hico, Tx.) This piece I have had for over 25 years ... and very much enjoyed it.
One of you will, too.
Shipping on this one will be $75 insured.
