C.J. "Buffalo" Jones was one of the 4 or 5 people credited with saving the American bison from extinction.  This is a nice easy reading version of who he was and how he got so involved in saving the bison.  A fascinating glimpse at how it must have been back in the 1880's.

Note:  These use to be readily available; now they are scarce ... and pricey!   These are my last 4 copies!
