Continued "Big News". Celebration/Party/Adios/Blow Out tickets will be on the website for sale by Saturday ... if not before. Ron jumped the gun before he actually had the link built. The house/warehouse is really close to finished and i am excited about it. But this afternoon, I am headed for Caddo Lake in far east Texas ... by the town of Uncertain, Texas. Lots of you are taking me up on the opportunity to seriously negotiate for those things you really want. Keep it coming; we are both winning on these. New Blog Post or two later today or tomorrow (after fishing), for sure.
Yes, folks ... BIG NEWS. The Texas Historical Commission has bought the store in Goodnight. We will be there through the end of July, 2024 ... and then on line or by phone. No; we are not "quitting" - HERD WEAR will continue. Be sure you are on our email list and also on Buffalo Wool Co's list.

"Zoo" Beanie - A wild animal blend of bison down, baby camel and silk

The Zoo Beanie is named for the multi-animal fiber blend of this intriguing yarn: 40% bison down, 40% baby camel and 20% silk. Independently, these fibers are luxurious, but blended they create a very light-weight and wonderful next-to-the-skin product.

With my bald head and cold nights,I've been wearing one as an old-time "night cap" ... and boy, do I sleep better. Wear it outdoors in the less-than-freezing, but more-than-10-degree weather. (Colder than that, I go back to the 90/10 "original" bison down Beanie.)

"Zoo" Beanies are available in Brown Blend trim  (the three stripes) or our Summer Mix trim (yellow/orange/red/green). The trims are Wyoming wool from Mountain Meadows Woolen Mill, Buffalo Wyoming.

Matching beanie and scarf sets available for $150 ($20 discount). Click here

Lovely knit. Great feeling yarn. Stays put without feeling "clingy". Still to warm in Florida to wear it outside, but works great in the a.c.
