Beat the Clock? Nope, Not going to Happen

Beat the Clock? Nope, Not going to Happen

I need to quit apologizing for not getting everything done I want done.  I will, right after this apology for not getting the third and fourth part of the Alaska trip (which has been in draft form a month now) finished and up.

But, as I have said for years, Life interferes with Life.  And so it goes.

Bob W has been quite ill; so has Vicky.  Health and family always come first ... and again, so it goes.

Some of the bright spots have been:

      • Ronson Page and his book "horde" keep coming out of the closet (or out of the storage locker, anyway
      • Rogue Industries - the New England folks who make the ingenious front pocket wallets have completed and sent prototypes of a new fishing fly "wallet" with bison and a superb new small cross body purse with bison and traditional waxed canvas
      • I am getting more visitors each week to the Distribution Center; that is most appreciated.  Nobody seem disappointed with our more compact layout; thank you all for that.
      • Dove season continues and I will get a chance to visit friends in South Dakota in October for pheasant (and chislik).
      • The bison and wool blankets son Ron has created got a "warm reception" ... and most of the 300 pieces are gone.  He also got 90 pieces of a Clint Eastwood/Paul Newman Style poncho using the same material; I didn't even get them on our site before they were gone, as well.  He has another 90 on order .... but no production date.  Both pieces were done a Faribault Knitting Mill.
