 We do very little overseas .. but these Damascus steel knives are the exception.  As much as anything, it is the integrity of the makers that has kept us coming back for more .. and more.  You will not be disappointed as well as extending a hand of commercial "friendship" to some hard working and deserving individuals we will never have the pleasure of meeting.  Except by their knives.

A great place

Wandered by the Herd Wear store eastbound, did a U-turn and was happy to have stopped. I’m not much of a shopper but this place is great. Darlene was and is really a fine person, very patient and helpful. We got some very warm bison gloves, good sausage and once home I ordered a set of unique Damascus steel chef knives I’d seen in the store, with plans to break the set up for holiday gifts. I got and used the knives, like them so much called and asked Darlene if she could get me 3 more of one of the knives from the set...and pair of gloves for my wife. No problem. Darlene can get it done.
Suggest you stop by or look them up online. I know the gloves aren’t cheap, but they’re the real deal. I’ve lived and worked in Alaska for 40 years, commercial fishing and mining, exposed to lot of raw weather requiring real gear. Herd Wear has it.
