Carved Gourds by Joyce Meck

Sold out
$625.00
Title

These have not one thing to do with bison, but they there is so much talent put into these creations .... we put them both in the store and in this special Holiday page.  Joyce lived in Hawaii before moving to Albuquerque, NM.

The carved cats look just one degree away from twitching their tail.  "Cats"  This is the one up for auction

Thus the one gourd that simulates the deep blue of the South Pacific Ocean.  Call it simply "Ocean"  (sold)

The deep cuts of "Swirls" throw shadows of light and dark in patterns that constantly change.  (still available but not in this auction... call or email me if interested)

You don't have to own these to appreciate the artistry and craftspersonship Joyce puts into her works.... but you can.

Once again, museum quality work
