BOOKS - The Story of the Palo Duro Canyon

$35.00

Texas Tech University Press - 2001.

Duane F. Guy Editor.

A collection of essays and articles, with excellent attribution to those who researched and wrote (and visited) the Canyon in my back yard.  Being the second largest "canyon" in the US, it is both a geologic wonder and a sight to take your breath away.  So so many people have no idea it exists just off US 287; that it stretches more than 60 miles through the seemingly flat lands of the Texas Panhandle.

But it does.

Excellent read with many more "suggestions" for other reads as you go through.
