JUST ARRIVED! June 2024. 3 ... yes, three new Native tuned 6 hole flutes from from Keith Glowka. These are our first ever of this style from Keith. Each hand inlayed in turquoise chip with a bison image. He is the ONLY person we have ever found to make these incredible instruments. The craftsmanship is over the top perfect. They are meticulously crafted; just holding one is an experience.
"Moon Flutes" as he calls them are truly precision instruments. Perfectly tuned (and adjustable with his instructions - included) with six fingering holes for producing the six note native scale.
These flutes play beautifully; we've had a couple of true masters on the tuned flute show us how they can be made to sing. It is haunting and takes you back to the days of the great bison herds on the never ending prairie
