Silver Pearl Ranch - # 8 Mine Turquoise - Showpiece Pendant by "B. Johnson"

A showpiece cabochon of #8 (Nevada) Mine turquoise set in a solid heavy carved sterling silver backdrop.  "B. Johnson" - the hallmark - is Bobby Johnson.  Bobby is from Church Rock, New Mexico in the heart of the Navajo reservation.  He began to silversmith in the early 70’s, learning from his family. Bobby, his brothers and sisters are all expert silversmiths.  Coming up in this time when quality natural turquoise was more available, Bobby still looks to source the best turquoise there is in today's market. 

The first and second pictures, though a bit blurred, is the closest to the actual stone color, the true #8 Mine turquoise with it's light green cast to it.  (Yes, these were me and my phone trying to get these new pieces up on the website post haste.  Better pictures coming ... unless it sells first  - then you can take all the pictures you want!)

3" tall; 2" widest; 1/2" bale.  Weight guess (don't have the gram scale at the moment ... but will weight it if you want) is close to 4 oz!
