Silver Pearl Ranch - Exceptional "Wild Horse" Pendant - heavy sterling silver backing and bale

What a superb piece.  The stone is true "Wild Horse" set in heavy sterling silver pendant.  The setting is artfully notched in traditional fashion and cut to enhance the character of the stone itself.  22 grams (over 3/4 oz) total weight.  Hallmarked "HBH".    Very Likely "Heavy By Hand Trading Company" - Albuquerque; a collaborative group of Native artesans ... but have not verified the work (yet).

Not (yet) familiar with "Wild Horse" jewelry?  Also known as Crazy Horse Stone or Appaloosa Stone, Wild Horse is a semi-precious gemstone that is white with brown mottling, similar to the coloration of a "Paint" horse . It's a metamorphic rock that's found in the Gila wilderness area of southeastern Arizona, near the Globe Copper Mine.
