His comments on this "find" were: "Donner Party book is pretty cool .... 1th edition so no great shakes there, but the owner pasted in the obituary of the last surviving Donner Party member ... and she was a Donner, youngest daughter of Capt. Donner. Plus 3 postcards from the Donner Part site memorial, circa 1920's".
He continued: "To me, that all makes it of more interest ... that obit likely doesn't exist anywhere else, at this point ... maybe the depths of some newspaper HQ, but unlikely, stuff like that either gets digitized or lost to a flood".
