Whew! Glad we are past that .....

Whew! Glad we are past that .....

Thanks to all who came out to help empty the "Danged Container.

I know Goodnight is not exactly on everyone's direct route home ... but I think we all came out ahead.   We didn't get it clean to the walls, but we can walk around in it a bit ... and there is still "stuff".

If you come up, .... and If you want, we'll let you back in the Container.  So now, Onward!!

Alaska is on the horizon;  this is actually a picture of one of the streams George Rogers, DENALI Anglers, plans to stick me into.  I am stoked!! will report from the field up there, for sure.

Ronson Page is STILL at the Rare Book School.  He says they keep him ramped up from 8:30 a.m. till 9:00 p.m.  He still hasn't told me ANYTHING about it ... but I am pretty sure that this is where he is and what he is doing.  It is St. Olaf University in Northfield, Minnesota: The Antiquarian Book School Foundation.   That being the case, I'll cut him some slack ... as it really looks both fascinating and intense.  If I am wrong he will tell me once he gets a free hand.

Perhaps you saw a new McDonalds Commercial (or at least a take that might become a Mickey D. Commercial with Ron and Theresa's youngest - Meghan (the Berlin Marathoner).    Click Taste Test and H.  Kind of fun!   Then Ron and Theresa went to McD's (which they probably hadn't since I bought him a kids meal 40 years ago) ... and did their own commercials.  Megan was excited.  But I couldn't leave well enough alone after that.  Yes, I did

This week saw new moccasins from Footskins - (1) the tall mocs with the denim look leather; (2) the infant mocs with the same denim leather; (3) the arrival of the Hard Rock Cafe and Planet Hollywood architectural drawings; (4) a couple more intriguing antique guns from Orange Coast Auctions, and (5) awaiting the new turquoise pieces from Silver Pearl Ranch.

And, Darrell P. has a box with six (6) really nice shoulder mounts on their way to us.  Two are spoken for; they get first choice,  The other four I will get photographed and on line.  There still is the list.  I've been waiting almost 3 years not to get these!

As well, I'm back adding "things" to the "A List" Flea Market, so take a look there, too.  I have had way too many of you write the "if only I had see that before it sold".  Well, keep check back on "The A List" frequently.  I add items when I can, in no particular order.    And there are plenty bargains/finds/treasurers to come... promise.  Plan to keep it up until November this year.  After that we will see.  It's sometimes hard for me to get my fingers off the keyboard before "stuff" gets snatched up.  And, my friends, do not be afraid to ask me either to put something (or some category) on "The List" or just make me an offer.  I am not afraid to say no if I can't, but surprisingly how many times I can say "Deal!".
