Dad use to say; "Nothing lasts for ever". Wasn't sure what he was trying to tell me until the Kingston Trio and the Beatles broke up; I got the idea. When Dad passed, then it really hit home. I knew clearly what he had been trying to tell me.
So, the time has come for me to move on from the store here in Goodnight. No sure time yet as to exactly when, but we know we will be open all summer and fall of 2022. October is likely the earliest we will finish, so plenty of time to come on by
in anticipation of this next "retirement" we are wheeling and dealing even more than usual. Something here you have coveted? Call and talk to me about it. Better yet, come on by and let's make a deal face to face. We've got a wonderful collection of "all things bison ... and more".
There will be categories of clearance items put up here on the website (and in the store, too) pretty much on a monthly basis, starting with all the bison leather, bison fabric and fur vests we have still in stock. I've taken some very drastic reductions to get them all hanging in your closet and not mine. Next month will probably be all our coats and sweaters, but right now ... you want a great vest? Jump in here and help yourself!
A lot of the art will end up in the "Auction" part of the website .... and again, you want to make an offer ... just call.
This is not a sad thing, and no bad news; just a few more lakes and oceans to be fished ... and a wonderful women with whom to spend this time as time draws towards the inevitable.
Herd Wear and Buffalo Gold brand products ... and a goodly part of the interesting things we sell will continue to be available on line. And yes, there will be more new and eye opening, fun, practical and not so practical "things" .... all on the HerdWear.net website.
The store and land are up for sale. Anyone interested in one or both give me a call.
