Baynes was a contemporary of Hornaday, Roosevelt and was a founding member of the original American Bison Society.
He also had two trained bison back in the early 1900's ... War Whoop and Tomahawk. True story and very good read. Books are out of print. These copies are all in good to very good shape (for their age). Readable and collectible.
