Well... they are not bison leather. But they are a well made glove at a very good price - $30.

They were made by the same company (North American Trading) that made the bison leather work and insulated gloves we sold for years.

However, when bison hide prices rose, North American went back to what they have been doing all along ...deer and elk gloves. Natural Elk hide, soft, supple and fairly tough (I mean, not as tough as bison leather ... but still a very good work or driving glove).

THE THICK SUPPLE ELK SKIN GLOVES

FIRST I LIKE TO SAY THE GLOVES ARE SUPPLE SOFT BUT DURABLE ELK HIDE GLOVES. I REALLY USE THESE GLOVES ALOT IN THIS INSTITUTIONAL KITCHEN SETTING. THERES METAL RACKS WITH WHEELS THAT HAVE MULTIPLE METAL HOTEL PANS ON THEM THAT I PULL AND PUSH. THE GLOVES ARE LIKE A EXTRA DUTY SKIN TO DO THE TASK.YEA THE GLOVES ARE COST BUT DURABILITY TO DO THE JOB IS A LOT LESS STRAIN ON YOUR HANDS.I RECOMMEND THEM HIGHLY. THE BUFFALO GLOVES A RECEIVED ALSO IS NICE TOO WITH SUPPLE SOFT AND TOUGH LEATHER TO LIKE DO THE JOB. BUT I WOULD BUY THE ELK AGAIN IF NEEDED. IN CONCLUSION I DON'T KNOW HOW LONG THESE ELK SKIN GLOVES CAN CONTINUE TAKING A BEATING BUT IM GIVING THEM THE WORK FOR THE TIME BEING.
