These are the last three of the Navajo weavings/rugs I have had over the past years.  They are all "older" ... estimated to be between 50 and 70 years old.  We collected these mostly at the Taos Wool Festival while we were vending there, in 2002-8.  They are very fine examples of Navajo spinning and weaving

#121 is 31' x 29".  It is hand spun and hand loomed, native wool ... and expertly crafted

#85 is 28" x 20".  It is a much finer yarn ...not a thin yarn, just much denser than the other two.  All hand spun and hand loomed.

#114 has some "issues".  More photos of the defects.  It is priced to help find it a new residence to enjoy it's color and composition without "judgment".  The yarn still appears to be a hand spun; but well spun.  A few slubs and of course, knots where skeins were tied in to the weaving.  It measures 28" x 29"  It appears to me that it was used 'folded' in the middle, as that is where most of the wear/damage shows.  The fray at the edges could be mended or pulled down, but the center is weak.  Could it be folded again in the same way?  Most likely, but personally I think it better to lay it out fully and just be careful.
