Today: September 20, things are moving forward quickly. "The List" is up and functional, though not in final form. As intended, all the remaining crazy sale items will get tossed on "The List' as we dig them out from the move. Look for 55-85% off. "The List" is it's own Collection under the "Shop All" tab on this page. I expect that the "List" will be an ongoing project well towards the end of this year ... I have that much "stuff" to get gone. Watch for things like bison leather vests, low inventory gloves, jewelry, special knives, art prints, books and so much more. If you see something on the "list" you want, jump on it; things are already getting sold, thank you. The list is being called "Out with the Old" because shortly I will begin the "In with the New"; I've been gathering quite a bit of new that will get announced in the next email blast. The New Goodnight "Distribution Center" is receiving visitors already. If you want to come by, call me -817-992-8220 as far in advance as you can! The freezers are well stocked with bison steaks, bison brats and hot dogs, some burgers still left, some of our "buffalo cocaine" .... well, that's what a bunch of the bison jerky "addicts" call Gehl's Kippered Bison jerky. Still a little bison corned brisket, as well. Isaac promises the "new" website look is really close to done! STAY TUNED!

Well, in the move, packing up the library was probably the hardest part.  We have just under 400 titles on bison, western history, cowmen, cowgirls and boys, natural history, antique firearms, bison and outdoor cooking, western artists ... living and past, and a lot of interwoven categories.

But we have a load of kids books!  This means kids from 3 to 93 actually (but mostly the under 13 variety.

I will send you:

  1. God's Critters by Dick Wilberforce;
  2. Camas and Sage by Dorthey Hinshaw Patent;
  3.  Everything I know I learned from my Grandpa by Jack Sorenson;
  4.  Texas Babies from Far Country Press; and,
  5. One of the many award winning Paul Goble books, each featuring a different Native American legend about the buffalo - my choice on this last one,

All five for just $33.50.  That is right at 1/3 of the sticker price on these great reads!

Most of these are new books; a few might be gently used as are a lot of the older out of print volumes we try to keep available.

I will be doing a couple of adult book sets in the near future as well (no!! not THAT kind of Adult thing!!)   Some really exceptional reads, in my opinion.    I have unpacked/unboxed/untubbed about half of the books so far - the picture below.  I will continue to update the library; it as a very important piece of "Herd Wear" and will continue as long as I can.  Please browse the collections ... and I will buy back books or swap them out for others when you are finished.
