This incredible set is the "Vailima Edition -#657". There are 25 of the original 26 volumes - all in good or better condition. Volume 9 is missing. If it shows up we will send it to you at no charge.
There is some "damp" staining from careless storage, most likely. There is no mold smell and whatever is there seems to be all that will appear .... as long as you take care of the set from here on out.
There are a lot of Stevenson collections out there; most seemingly in single books out of sets. Whole sets start around $1000 and go up to very large numbers.
