Almost nobody wants a calendar any more, right?   So why these?   Well, pardnah, since 1967, Lex Graham, of Windthorst, Texas (sort of) has been taking West Texas humor ... which is very much like South and East Texas humor, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri etc. humor, - just good ole country humor - and putting truly unique art of his creation with the things that make our everyday lives the kind we just cannot make up.

Anyway, I first saw these around 1970; have had them as a give away one time before like 15 or so years ago... and I drive by his "Back 40" every time l go from Goodnight to Weatherford - really (will get a picture this trip).

Anyway again, Lex's daughter called to see if I might want to buy a few.  I love them; the humor, the art, the fact that this man whom I have never met can "see" into my life so clearly and pick up on the everyday things that makes me laugh.

So anyway one more time .... You can get this years free with coupon code "Laugh with Lex" when you buy anything off our site.  Or, you can pay about what I pay (which is the $5.95) for a $10 retail calendar.  Or you can miss out entirely.  We'll see how this year goes before we think about next.  I am thinking we will run out/sell out before too long, so grab a calendar... even if it is just for the cartoons.   (the two "examples" are from earlier calendars - don't want to spoil the new ones for you.  You will enjoy these!

Delighted & surprised

I ordered a calendar for my husband - very last minute Christmas gift so paid extra for shipping. To my surprise, two calendars arrived accompanied by a kind hand written note from the proprietor - he decided that since I had paid so much for the expedited shipping that two calendars were in order. Our family passed the note around on Christmas morning and everyone agreed that this personal touch gave us a great impression of the business and the owner, that this "old school" type of connection is lacking in the world today, and that we would certainly take a look at the web site for other products or gifts in the future.
