SPR - Sterling Silver Wire Cuff with Chrysocolla Stone

Want a show piece stone but not the usual heft of a full metal cuff.  You've got to see this beauty.  Lightweight but with all the impact of a large stone,  Chrysocolla?   Like Turquoise it has a medium to large copper content but is formed differently.  Some Chrysocolla is too soft for jewelry making (actually, so is a lot of unstablized turquoise).

However, like this stone, when up on the Mohs scale, it cuts and polishes .... and this is one such beautiful result.

Native Made in New Mexico, start to finish.  There is no visible hallmark (makers mark) but I will get the artist's name before we finish this deal.   Opening measures 1 3/8"; inside measurement side to side is 2 5/8"

The silver work is new school style with old school craftsmanship.  Absolutely beautiful.   (and if you would like I will toss in the coral slab I used in the photo ... if you like!)
