The deep true Remington green color is pure classic sportsman; hence the name. Wide brim fedora style. This color pairs beautifully with denim for casual outings, browns and blacks for almost everything else.
These come from the factory with a black fabric band. If you want, we will include a great hand cut American tanned chocolate brown or black bison leather hatband (see last picture) at no additional cost. The original band comes off and the new one slides on. Just leave us a note on the order

The hat I purchased is a very, good quality hat. I will be wearing it often. The process of ordering was simple and easy to accomplish. The packaging was good and the delivery was handled well.
This hat, as well as the Kangaroo hat, which arrived safely at the same time, is lovely. I'm waiting to give both to some of my grandchildren, unless I myself get too attached to them myself.

This hat is a quality made hat. The color is perfect and it was shipped very protected and in perfect shape. I measured my head for size which fell into the medium size which, for me, is a tad big. I don’t want to return it as I feel a small would be too tight. Plan on enjoying it for many years.
Vito: Thank you for the kind words and so glad you like the 'Sportsman'. As to the hat being a bit big, if you take a cotton ball or two; stretch them out lengthwise intil they are quite thin and then work them in behind the sweatband - between the sweatband and the hat itself. That ought to take up the slack; still feel comfortable and not interfere with the look of the hat in any way. Give it a try and let me know. Best wishes (and stay stylish!). Cecil
The Remington Green Sportsman hat from Herd Wear is fantastic! It’s a comfortable fit and perfect to wear either outdoors or for just plain enjoyment.
