Probably from the mid 40's as best I can tell. #GS 6541.
Both the box and the lure are so close to pristine it is amazing. It is interesting that the lead plug shows up unpainted. Most of the others I have seen are painted, but I cannot tell if that was an indication of an earlier version or not. Also, plug is on the side as opposed to the bottom. Someone knows; just not me.
