This concept, as expressed in these hand painted "gifting" feathers, is Native American in origin. You give someone a "something" just because you feel it is the thing to do. Each of these is hand painted right on the feather by Hoffert. There is a great heartwarming story about Will and his wife, Bonny. I'll be glad to share if you care to know. We have been graced with Will's art for many years now.
