Republic of Texas $100 Stock Certificate dated June 15, 1840.  This is a coupon certificate with none of the coupons having been redeemed, but the certificate itself has been cancelled with the "XXX" cuts through it.  They are not visable until the bond is moved, except for three small triangles of paper that have fallen off from the cancellation cuts.

Framed.,  Very Good to Excellent condition overall.  Printing is crisp.  Penned ink is good with only modest bleed from age.
