Yes, folks ... BIG NEWS. The Texas Historical Commission has bought the store in Goodnight. We will be there through the end of July, 2024 ... and then on line or by phone. No; we are not "quitting" - HERD WEAR will continue. Be sure you are on our email list and also on Buffalo Wool Co's list.

Cotton/Poly sweatshirt with zipper front.   Our creative designer, Beth Nelson, came up with this Front bison/ back Native philosophy - saying that so fits our thinking ... and dang good at keeping you warm.  Shirts are from            Screen printing done just 20 miles up the road from us by Jody Berry and his "Signs Plus" crew.  Excellent work; useful hoodie and you won't find it anywhere else.

We also have it in a pull over and same design in a short sleeve T and kids T shirt.

Perfect Gift

My wife told me months ago she needed a new zip-up hoodie sweatshirt. I knew she loved American Bisons. Not easy to find zip-up hoodies in her size, let alone Bison designs. The Herd Wear shirt was perfect. Cecil invested his personal time and attention to get me the right size and to get the order to my home by Christmas. I was a challenging customer, but Cecil was up to the challenge. I was a Texan a half-century ago, and I got to reminisce a bit about Texas with Cecil. Most importantly, my wife loves the sweatshirt!

Nice Sweatshirt and Great Shop

I'm enjoying my sweatshirt and having the Indian buffalo quote on the back is a bonus. Cecil at Herd Wear is a great guy and is a good storyteller. The bison jerky and bison burgers were excellent as well. When you stop by, plan to stay a while.
