Not familiar with Geo. Bird Grinnell? He was one of those who traveled and lived "the buffalo life" in it's waning days. And he wrote extensively. This is a delightful read. (Postcard Picture is from my collection, not in this book .. sorry ... but I wanted you to see a peek at who he was and why you ought to get to know more about him).
This is a softcover "reprint" .. and be aware that the type is pretty small. I have yet to find a better version... so have the magnifiers ready.
