Yes, folks ... BIG NEWS and GOOD NEWS. I am here through end of July. Then the Goodnight Historical Center takes over the store and land . A lot of our best products will be carried over into their store, thankfully. I am also building a new house on the North side of US 287 .... and (sssshhhhh) most likely will still have jerky, meat and a few other things available there. No; we are not "quitting" - HERD WEAR will continue (while I spend more time fishing and with family). Be sure you are on our email list and also on Buffalo Wool Co's list. Keep checking the blog posts on this website as well ... i will be adding info there about the events ... and they are lining up sweet! Come see us while we are here!

Gehl's Jerky is back in stock! Yea!

Gehl's Jerky is back in stock! Yea!

Once you have had a taste of this delicious smoked meat, you understand.  Marc and Cathy Gehl - bison ranchers in River Falls Wisconsin have been getting this outstanding bison meat jerky (well, it's called "Kippered" ... or brine cured meat as it has a bit more moisture than Wisconsin allows to call something jerky) for 30 years ... and we've been eating it for 20 of them.

Their long time processer had to push back their processing dates through the fall ... and for the first time since we opened we were out.   Just got 45# in in both 1/4 pound ($20) and 1/2 pound ($30) packs.

We also had Cathy ship us 25# of their Bison bratwurst patties.  Guess what I had for dinner!!   Same 100% bison meat, with a touch of pineapple for moisture retention, as their Wisconsin Bison Brats, but in a 1/4 lb. patty.  Great for breakfast, lunch or midnight snack.
