Just (November 18, 2024) received 10 new pistol cases ... all 12".  Hope this means more will be coming soon .... but if you want/need/been waiting for one grab it quickly!!

WE CANNOT KEEP UP WITH DEMAND ... nor can the great folks - Craig and Cere - at African Game Industries in Ft. Worth, who build these excellent bison hides, bison shearling & bison leather pistol cases.

4 standard sizes:  8"; 10", 12" and 14".  

3 basic color/material combinations:

  • all rugged bison hide
  • two tone - bison hide and bison leather (couple different leather colors)
  • bison shearling and bison leather

And now, The Elephant/Bison cases.  Earlier in 2023 I was watching an auction in Ft. Worth that was mostly head and shoulder mounts; lots of very interesting pieces.  They had a small random box of elephant hide.  I got it (and a pretty large piece of gator).  Mr. Craig at AGI (who use to run one of South Africa's largest hide tanneries) knew exactly .. to the part of the body and who tanned it ... what I had.  He says it is absolutely the best. Now he has turned those pieces into a very limited and very special set of pistol cases.  We will grab the next one on the shelf; there are no bad ones but each has a little different grain structure. 

We have also delivered to them a number of African hides ... the back half of trophy caped mounts - kudu, eland, wildebeest, rhino and a couple more.  Can't wait to see what they turn into!!  

We can do custom material combinations and sizes (like 16" or 18") if you need - just drop us a note or call.

We can also get your name or initials embroidered on the leather (or on a matching or contrasting leather patch

 Now, these "bison hide" cases are built out of "craft grade" bison hides ... which means that they have quite a bit of "character" .... the natural skin color - bison brown but with some summer hair, scars, great deep grain on most all.  Rugged and rustic to be sure, but completely authentic bison.

The shearling part is garment grade bison sheared hides; exceptionally soft and durable.  Likewise, it is a bit more expensive

Unique shrunken grain pressed dark brown bison leather -  Great contrast.

Bison hide pistol rugs

Marcia: I'll pass your great thoughts on to the fine folk at African Game Industries in Ft. Worth ... the actual people that cut and stitch our leathers into these super pistol rugs. I was just there yesterday and ordered some AR-15 cases .... bison leather and canvas; and a new side zipper shotgun case in 50', 52' and 54'. You are right; these are very very good American made products. Thanks for taking the time ... and I will get the new pieces up on line as soon as I get the prototypes.

So full of character!

I raise bison so I bought these as Christmas gifts for my hubby and dad.
